Join us for our Kids Nonfiction Book Chat! This month we are learning about a famous Native American ballerina with “Who Was Maria Tallchief?” by Catherine Gourley. Registration is appreciated! Books available at the Children’s Room desk. This program is for students in grades 2-5.

Preschoolers can join us on Friday mornings for their very own Story Time! We will use stories, songs, felt boards and more to help your child to develop early literacy and kindergarten readiness skills. Each meeting will conclude with a craft to reinforce additional skills. Siblings are welcome. This week’s theme is: Hats! **Please wear any kind of hat to Story Time!** Weekly sign-up necessary! This program is for children 3-5 years old.

The library will provide LEGO bricks to build with and challenges if you need some inspiration! Ages 4+ please. This infant lapsit program will provide early literacy opportunities for caregivers and babies through a story time with interactive song, movement, and fingerplay. After the program, babies and adults will have time to play and socialize. Siblings are welcome. Weekly sign-up necessary! This program is for children from birth to 18 months.

Tuesday, May 6th from 4PM-5PM

If you’re a fan of graphic novels and comics then this is the group for you. Chat with fellow fans about a new book each month. This month we will be discussing Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein & Douglas Holgate. Registration is required. This program is for students in grades 4-8.

The default lending period in OverDrive/Libby is 14 days. Patrons have the option to select 21 days or 7 days when borrowing!

MVLC library users now have their choice of the MVLC Mobile App iOS version is available to download from the Apple App Store  or the MVLC Mobile App Android version and may be downloaded from the Google Play Store.  Users who have set up the previous mobile app on their devices will need to uninstall the old app and then go to the appropriate store to download the new app.

OverDrive now asks MVLC library patrons to enter their Library Card PIN when logging into the Libby app or on the OverDrive website.
